Job Summary: As a Milk Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the timely and efficient delivery of milk and other dairy products to residential and commercial customers. You will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction through reliable service and excellent communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivery: Safely operate a delivery truck to transport milk and dairy products to assigned routes. Ensure timely and accurate deliveries in accordance with the schedule.
• Picking: Picking orders in an accurate and timely manor. (will require manual handling of crates 15KG-20KG).
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by interacting with customers in a friendly and professional manner. Address any customer concerns or issues promptly and effectively.
• Product Handling: Load and unload dairy products, ensuring proper handling and storage to maintain product quality. Verify the accuracy of delivery orders.
• Route Management: Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules. Plan efficient routes to optimize delivery times and fuel usage.
• Documentation: Complete delivery paperwork, including delivery logs and customer signatures. Report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine checks and maintenance of the delivery vehicle, including inspections of tires, fluids, and equipment. Report any vehicle issues to the maintenance department.
• Compliance: Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal transportation and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid Driver’s License: Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Experience: Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry heavy items 20kg and handle the physical demands of the job.
• Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
• Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accurate deliveries and adherence to schedules.
• Reliability: Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic and commitment to customer service.
• Early Morning Availability: Flexibility to start early in the morning as required by delivery schedules.
• Forklift License: preferred but not required.
