An exciting opportunity has opened for an experienced, energetic, and detail-orientated to join our team in the Port Melbourne Roastery. This is a hands-on role with room to grow with the company for the right person. Immediate start preferred.

To qualify you must have full working rights and be available to work from Monday to Wednesday 7am to 4pm (shift times will differ between these hours depending on the requirements of the day and you may be asked to work other days depending on the week and scheduled inbound/outbound).

The Role

• Receiving stock, verifying its contents and putting it away without delay
• Inspect and report any damaged or missing items
• Wrapping and labeling pallets for storage or dispatch
• Safely storing products in their designated warehouse locations using strict FIFO
• Pre-Dispatch modification work as required
• Maintain accurate inventory records and preform regular cycle counts
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Unloading containers as required
• Ensure pallet control records are maintained (LOSCAM and CHEP)
• Assist with adequate production staging as required
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, high reach and pallet jacks safely and efficiently
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized and hazard-free and ensure maintenance issues are reported immediately
• Adhere to safety protocols, OH&S procedures and best practices and maintain a safe working environment.
• Follow all HACCP procedures as required
• Keep storage areas clean and free of hazards
• Perform additional tasks as directed by management

About You

• Reliable and punctual
• Previous experience working in a warehouse
• Forklift license and High Reach experience
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Must have a current and clean Full Australian driver’s license.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
• Motivated with a positive attitude
• Ability to problem solve on the go and stay focused for long periods of time
• Ability to independently lift 20kg with frequent bending, twisting and lifting required
