About the role

We have an opportunity for a Store Person to join the team at our Canning Vale warehouse on a casual basis. As a Warehouse Store Person, reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will contribute to the efficient flow of goods through our distribution center and will perform all relevant warehouse duties.

Key tasks:

• Order Fulfilment: Pick, pack, and prepare shipments while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Operation of forklift to assist warehouse staff, deliveries and pickups.
• Loading and unloading deliveries and containers.
• Participate in stock takes and cycle counts.
• Adhere to warehousing, safety, and shipping legislation, including Dangerous Goods protocols.
• Maintain the warehouse in an organized manner.

What You Bring:

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has a strong work ethic and desire to be a team player.
• Demonstrates good attention to detail and commitment to ensuring tasks are completed within a set timeframe.
• Personal organization and time management skills including the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, manage competing demands, changes in priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to engage with customers and people across the business in a professional manner and a willingness to undertake what is required to ensure business success and client satisfaction is achieved.
• Computer literate with intermediate skills in MS Access and Excel and the ability to learn new software applications.
• A forklift license would be an advantage but not essential.
• Prior experience in a warehouse environment would be beneficial.
