Corrections Victoria operates Victoria’s adult prison system. This includes 11 public prisons and a transition centre. Corrections Victoria also has oversight of the three privately operated prisons in Victoria. Corrections Victoria focuses on providing targeted interventions that help reduce the risks of reoffending. We prioritise safety and manage rehabilitation programs that support behavioural change.
