About the Role

Reporting directly to the business owners, the Farm Lead will play a key role in the day to day management of the farm while leading staff and ensuring efficient and compliant operations.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading and supervising the farm team

Coordinating daily production activities

Ensuring compliance with biosecurity, animal welfare and workplace safety requirements

Monitoring flock health and production performance

Ensuring all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed

Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity

Assisting with staff training and onboarding

Managing daily work schedules and task allocation

Recording production data and reporting outcomes

Liaising with management regarding operational improvements

Maintaining farm equipment and facilities

About You

The successful applicant will have:

Previous leadership or supervisory experience

Strong organisational and communication skills

Excellent problem-solving ability

A positive and professional attitude

Experience within agriculture, poultry or livestock industries (highly regarded)
