Maintenance Electrician (Food Manufacturing)

📍 Western Suburbs, Melbourne VIC

💰 About $46–$47/hr (Base) + Penalties + Super | Permanent Full-Time

⏰ Day, Afternoon or Night Shift | Weekday or Weekend Shift Options

Join a large food manufacturing site with a strong maintenance team supporting high-volume production. Work on industrial production equipment with a focus on electrical fault-finding, automation and reliability.

About $46–$47/hr (Base) + Penalties + Super

Day, Afternoon and Night Shift options available

Weekday Shift: Monday–Friday, 8 hours/day

Weekend Shift: Thursday–Sunday, 10 hours/day

Shift Options

Day Shift: About $46–$47/hr (Base) + Super

Afternoon Shift: About $52–$54/hr + Super (includes 15% shift loading)

Night Shift: About $57–$58/hr + Super (includes 25% shift loading)

You will do

Fault Finding: Diagnose and repair electrical faults across production equipment.

Automation: Troubleshoot PLCs, VSDs and automated equipment.

Maintenance: Complete preventative and breakdown electrical maintenance.

Production Equipment: Maintain motors, conveyors, sensors and industrial machinery.

Safety: Respond to breakdowns safely and follow site safety procedures.

You have

A-Grade Electrical Licence

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
