THE ROLE

As a Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and developing the retail team while ensuring an exceptional customer experience and smooth day to day store operations. Beyond achieving sales targets, you will inspire your team through hands on coaching, lead by example, and create a high performing culture built on accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement.

You will play a key role in driving store performance, developing your team’s capabilities and ensuring every customer interaction reflects the LOJEL brand experience.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES

* Lead, inspire and coach the retail team to consistently achieve individual and store sales targets.

* Take ownership of the team’s performance by providing regular coaching, guidance and constructive feedback to help every team member grow.

* Build a strong team culture through effective leadership, accountability and collaboration.

* Identify training and development opportunities while supporting the onboarding and coaching of new team members.

* Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service and creating meaningful customer relationships that build long term brand loyalty.

* Welcome every customer and ensure a premium shopping experience from start to finish.

* Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling and POS transactions.

* Ensure the team consistently complies with company policies, operational procedures and service standards.

* Maintain high standards of visual merchandising, housekeeping and overall store presentation.

* Monitor inventory accuracy, stock replenishment and loss prevention procedures.

* Plan daily manpower deployment and ensure the team is effectively scheduled to support business needs.

* Handle customer feedback and service recovery professionally while protecting the LOJEL brand experience.

* Support company campaigns, retail initiatives and sustainability programmes.

* Perform any other duties assigned from time to time.

YOUR CORE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

* Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in a retail leadership or supervisory role.

* Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and coach a team to achieve business goals.

* Strong leadership presence with the confidence to make decisions, delegate responsibilities and hold team members accountable.

* Passion for developing people through coaching, mentoring and performance management.

* Proven ability to build a positive, high performing and customer focused team culture.

* Strong sales acumen with the ability to analyse store performance and implement action plans to improve results.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and inspire others.

* Highly organised with strong attention to detail and problem solving abilities.

* Proactive, resilient and able to thrive in a fast paced retail environment.

* Experience using retail POS systems and Microsoft Office applications.

* Well versed in spoken and written English.

* Able to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
