We are looking for a Laser Stencil Assistant to join our PCB Stencil production team at our manufacturing facility.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is reliable, hands-on, highly organised and has a strong eye for detail. Previous experience in PCB stencil manufacturing is not essential – we are willing to train the right person.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing materials and setting up jobs for production
  • Inspecting finished stencils to ensure they meet customer specifications
  • Measuring products using precision measuring equipment
  • Cleaning, finishing and assembling stencils
  • Packing and preparing completed orders for dispatch
  • Performing basic equipment checks and assisting with preventative maintenance
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work area
  • Following Mastercut's quality and safety procedures
  • Assisting other areas of the production team when required

What We're Looking For
You don't need previous experience in PCB stencils. More important to us is your attitude, reliability and willingness to learn.
We are looking for someone who has:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A practical and hands-on approach
  • Good computer skills and the ability to learn new software
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • The ability to follow detailed processes and instructions
  • A strong commitment to quality
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • A strong commitment to workplace health and safety

Experience That Would Be an Advantage
Experience in any of the following would be beneficial, but is not essential:

  • Laser cutting or CNC machinery
  • Manufacturing or production
  • Graphic design or vector-based software
  • Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW or AutoCAD
  • Precision measurement
  • Electronics or PCB manufacturing
  • Metal fabrication

Why Join Mastercut?
This is more than just a production role. It is an opportunity to develop skills in a specialised precision manufacturing environment and become highly competent in an area of manufacturing that requires accuracy, technology and attention to detail.
You will receive training in our processes and equipment and have the opportunity to develop your skills and take on additional responsibilities as your experience grows.
You will be joining a small, experienced team where Honesty, Integrity and Care are important to the way we work.

The Right Person
If you are someone who takes pride in doing things properly, enjoys practical work, has an eye for detail and wants to learn a specialised manufacturing skill, we'd like to hear from you.

Apply now and tell us why you would be a great addition to the Mastercut team.
