Job Title: Maintenance Officer
Location: Campbell, ACT
Hourly Rate: $35ph + Super

Our client, a reputable aged care provider located in Campbell, ACT, is seeking a reliable and experienced Maintenance Officer to join their team on a full-time basis.

This role is ideal for a hands-on maintenance professional who takes pride in maintaining a safe, functional and welcoming environment for residents, staff and visitors.

Responsibilities:

• General repairs and maintenance across the facility
• Preventative maintenance and routine inspections
• Maintenance of grounds, gardens and outdoor areas
• Monitoring and maintenance of building services and equipment
• Responding to maintenance requests in a timely manner
• Coordinating and supervising contractors when required
• Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety requirements
• Maintaining maintenance records and documentation

About You:

• Previous experience in a maintenance, facilities or property maintenance role
• Strong practical skills and a proactive approach to problem solving
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
• Experience within aged care, healthcare, retirement living or hospitality environments will be highly regarded

Requirements:

• Current Driver's Licence
• National Police Check or willingness to obtain one
• Full Australian working rights
• Ability to complete any required pre-employment checks
