The Organisation
Mimal Land Management Aboriginal Corporation manages a large Indigenous Protected Area in south-central Arnhem Land. The organisation works with Traditional Owners to care for land, water and cultural heritage through ranger programs, environmental management and education initiatives.
The team operates across remote locations and a Darwin office, supporting coordinated land management activities and community outcomes.
The Opportunity
This role is responsible for leading the delivery of administration, logistics and finance support services across the organisation. The position enables both remote and office-based teams to operate effectively through coordinated systems, processes and team capability.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading administration, logistics and finance functions across the organisation
Managing office operations and ensuring consistent administrative support
Overseeing logistics, travel, procurement and asset coordination
Leading finance administration including accounts, reporting and compliance
Supporting senior leaders with executive and organisational coordination
Building capability, performance and collaboration across the administration team
Maintaining effective systems, workflows and continuous improvement initiatives
Ensuring alignment with organisational policies, compliance and WHS requirements
The role is based in Nightcliff, NT.
About You
You will bring:
Experience in office management, business administration or a related field
Demonstrated experience leading administration and support service teams
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Experience across finance administration, procurement and office systems
Ability to develop and implement effective processes and workflows
Strong communication skills and ability to engage across all levels
A practical, solutions-focused and reliable approach
Experience working in remote, community or cross-cultural environments (desirable)
A collaborative leadership style with a focus on team development and performance
Your Reward
Salary of $110,000 – $120,000
