Our clients are a well established and rapidly growing engineering company located close to Perth Airport.
Due to growth the company now requires an experienced senior HSEQ Officer for this newly created vacancy on a part - time basis (2 to 3 days per week).

The vacancy:

To review/write procedures and correct processes to bring the company in line with building expectations of safety first for all.

Review and update policies and procedures across the company and out to all necessary stakeholders.

Conduct health and safety training for all staff

Conducting workplace inspections

Manage the ongoing HSEQ of all the sites, employees and stakeholders.

Managing training and inductions for sub - contractors

Keep business updated on changes to HSEQ and ISO standards

Conduct internal audits

Report directly into the General Manager and Directors

Leading investigations into serious incidents and liaising directly with WorkSafe WA when required

To apply:

Have experience with ISO and OFSC Accreditation and standards

Experience in HSEQ Risk Management

Experience in implementing controls to support business operations;

Previously worked within a HSEQ Officer role

Excellent interpersonal skills and organisational and communication skills.

A qualification in Work Health & Safety — Undergraduate Degree, Diploma, or Masters

Solid working knowledge of the WA Work Health and Safety Act 2020 and Regulations

Hold an Australian driver license and be a resident visa holder or Australian citizen

In return:

A fantastic salary of between $120,000 to $130,000 + Super pro rata
