• Lead a Queensland security operations portfolio across multiple sites within a highly regulated, 24/7 environment
• Report directly to the General Manager and join a collaborative leadership team with genuine career progression opportunities
• Lead a team of approximately 6 direct reports across aviation sites and associated operational contracts
• Experience of security operations within an aviation setting is required to be successful in this role

Your day-to-day will include:

• Leading operational managers and site supervisors across multiple locations.
• Developing strong relationships with key clients and maintaining service standards.
• Visiting sites regularly to coach leaders, resolve issues and support operations.
• Preparing client reports and participating in business reviews.
• Monitoring contract performance, budgets and operational efficiencies.
• Managing employee relations matters with support from the People & Culture team.
• Supporting contract renewals, continuous improvement and business growth initiatives.
• Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and industry requirements.

What you need to succeed:

• Experience leading large, multi-site operational teams.
• Background in aviation, aviation security or another complex, regulated services environment.
• Strong client relationship and stakeholder management capability.
• Commercial awareness with experience managing operational budgets or contracts.
• Exposure to industrial relations, enterprise agreements and unionised workforces.
• Confident leader who enjoys developing people and building high-performing teams.
• Comfortable travelling regularly throughout Queensland.
• Current Driver Licence. ASIC or the ability to obtain is highly regarded.
