About the Role

We are looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our Melbourne service team. This is a hands-on, field-based role servicing an assigned portfolio of customer sites, with full training, a company vehicle and genuine career progression on offer.

The role would suit a recent engineering graduate or an early-career engineer/technician looking to build a long-term career in water treatment. Graduates will have the opportunity to enter our Graduate Engineer Development Program, gaining project engineering experience alongside their field service role.

Key Responsibilities

Complete all service activities for assigned accounts in a timely, safe and professional manner

Conduct water chemistry testing and analysis of results

Maintain, troubleshoot, repair and commission dosing and filtration equipment

Assist with cooling tower cleaning and chemical cleaning activities

Manage chemical deliveries and transfers for assigned accounts

Conduct boiler and other equipment inspections

Generate service and inspection reports to company standards

Complete Job Safety Analysis hazard and risk assessments prior to undertaking work

Maintain a working knowledge of state Health Regulations for the control of Legionella

Assist with site surveys and project work

Build strong customer relationships and support retention and growth of assigned accounts

About You

Degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, environmental or related discipline), or equivalent industry experience

Current full Australian driver's licence (essential)

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Practical, hands-on approach with a strong focus on safety

Willingness to complete AIRAH Technician accreditation within your first 3 months, plus other training as required (First Aid, Confined Space, Elevated Work Platforms, Dangerous Goods Handling)

Availability for one weekend day per month (day-in-lieu or overtime provided)
