Accounts Officer
- Salary: $75k - $85k + super
- Location: South Yarra | Hybrid working model
- Hours: Part time (3 days a week, work these hours flexibly)
ABOUT THE ROLE:
As an Accounts Officer, you will be responsible for managing both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. The primary focus of this role is Accounts Receivable, with additional responsibility across Accounts Payable and broader finance support. This is a hands-on position within a collaborative finance team, offering exposure to a wide range of accounting processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Managing Accounts Receivable, including allocating and reconciling customer payments
Monitoring customer accounts to ensure payments are received in line with agreed terms
Following up on overdue accounts and managing debt collection processes
Processing incoming payments and allocating them accurately
Account reconciliations
Creating and managing bank transactions, including transfers between accounts
Entering and reconciling high volumes of credit card transactions
Assisting with Accounts Payable invoice data entry

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Strong Accounts Receivable experience with exposure to Accounts Payable
Experience using ERP systems such as D365, Netsuite, SAP etc
Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
- Experience working in a fast paced, global environment is essential
