Job Summary

The Automotive Technician (Panel Beater) is responsible for repairing damaged vehicle body panels and structures to restore vehicles to their original condition. This role involves dismantling and reassembling vehicle components, carrying out panel and structural repairs, stripping and refitting trims and interior panels, and ensuring all repair work meets company quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out repair and replacement of damaged vehicle body panels and structural components.

Dismantle and reassemble vehicle parts, trims, and interior panels to facilitate repair work.

Perform panel beating, dent removal, straightening, alignment, and body restoration works.

Conduct stripping and refitting of vehicle trims, accessories, and interior components with care and accuracy.

Perform panel and structural repair works independently in accordance with repair specifications and quality standards.

Inspect completed repairs to ensure proper fitment, alignment, and overall workmanship.

Ensure all repair work is completed within scheduled timelines while maintaining high-quality standards.

Adhere to workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized working environment.

Properly use, maintain, and safeguard workshop tools and equipment.

Job Requirements

Minimum Secondary Education, NITEC, Higher NITEC, or equivalent qualification.

At least 2 years of relevant experience in automotive body repair or panel beating.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong knowledge of automotive body repair techniques and panel beating processes.

Valid driving license
