About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and organised Learning & Development Administrator to join our People & Culture team. This role plays a critical part in promoting, supporting, and embedding a culture of lifelong learning across DDHS.

Working closely with managers, clinical leaders, trainees, and external stakeholders, our Learning & Development Coordinator provides high-quality administrative support for training, onboarding, and mandatory compliance. Work closely with managers and clinical teams to coordinate systems, schedules, and records in a values-driven, community-controlled organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Administer the full training lifecycle, including consultation, planning, budgeting, delivery, and evaluation.

Manage DDHS’s centralised training systems, e-learning platforms, and learning pathways.

Coordinate online mandatory training and monitor organisational compliance.

Drive onboarding, induction, and orientation processes across the organisation.

Coordinate and support the delivery of trainee, student, and GP Registrar onboarding programs.

Work collaboratively with clinical leaders to understand and support ongoing accreditation and clinical skills requirements.

Promote training opportunities and support managers to develop individual learning plans.

About You

You are a highly organised, values-driven professional passionate about workforce development and cultural safety, with strong administrative skills.

Essential Criteria:

Strong administrative skills with experience managing and maintaining systems, workflows, and reporting.

Demonstrated commitment to cultural safety and working respectfully with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.

Understanding of the social determinants of health and their impact on Aboriginal health outcomes.

Desirable:

Experience working in an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (ACCHO).

Experience in an education, training, or learning support role.

Salary $79,827 – $85,067 per annum (Admin Level 4.1–4.4).
