About the role

DK Medical Services PTE LTD is seeking a dedicated and compassionate O&G Clinic Assistant to join our healthcare team at Gleneagles Medical Centre. This is a full-time position (part time arrangement can be negotiated) that plays a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of our Obstetrics and Gynaecology clinic. As an O&G Clinic Assistant, you will be at the forefront of patient care, ensuring that every woman who visits our clinic receives exceptional service and support. Your presence and professionalism will directly contribute to creating a welcoming, efficient and high-quality clinical environment that meets the needs of our diverse patient population.

Key responsibilities

Greeting patients upon arrival and maintaining an organised, clean and welcoming reception area

Managing patient appointments, scheduling and rescheduling consultations as required

Collecting and filing patient medical records accurately and maintaining confidentiality at all times

Assisting with basic clinical procedures and providing support to the O&G specialists during examinations

Taking patient vital signs including blood pressure, temperature and weight

Processing patient payments, managing invoices and handling administrative billing tasks

Maintaining inventory of medical supplies and equipment, reporting shortages promptly

Answering telephone enquiries professionally and directing calls appropriately

Ensuring compliance with clinic policies, health and safety regulations and data protection requirements

Supporting staff members and contributing to a positive, collaborative team environment

What we're looking for

Minimum 1-2 years' experience working in a medical clinic, healthcare facility or similar patient-facing environment

Strong administrative and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and empathetic approach to patient interactions

Competency in using electronic medical records (Plato) systems and general office software

A genuine passion for delivering high-quality patient care and supporting healthcare professionals

Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate medical records and documentation

Ability to work collaboratively within a team whilst also managing responsibilities independently

Flexibility and resilience to handle a busy clinical environment with composure

Relevant healthcare certifications (such as CPR or First Aid) are advantageous

Understanding of confidentiality, ethics and professionalism in a healthcare setting

Non-judgemental and non-objector to termination of pregnancy
