HR Manager – Build, Shape and Lead the Future of People at Brunetti Classico
About Brunetti Classico
Brunetti Classico is a name synonymous with premium Italian hospitality — a brand built on craft, consistency, and experience. From the first greeting to the final espresso, everything we do reflects our passion for quality, tradition, and service.
As we continue to evolve, we’re focused not just on maintaining our legacy, but on shaping what comes next — with a clear ambition to elevate how our people perform, grow, and experience work.
The Opportunity
This is a newly created role with a clear mandate: build, elevate, and lead the HR function.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will operate as a true strategic partner — designing the systems, frameworks, and capabilities that enable our business to perform at its best. You’ll play a central role in shaping culture, lifting our people capability, and embedding modern, scalable people practices across the organisation.
This is a role for someone who wants to take an organisation to the next level, create from a blank page, influence at the highest level, and deliver meaningful organisational change.
This will be either a part-time or full-time role, depending on the candidate (3-5 days per week).
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Partner with the CEO and leadership team to align people strategy with business goals
Design and implement scalable systems across performance, recruitment, and development
Lead initiatives that uplift capability, culture, and performance
Build practical tools and processes that empower leaders and teams
Use people data and insights to inform decisions and drive better outcomes
Provide expert advice and hands-on leadership on complex people, culture and compliance matters in a people-intensive environment (ER/IR, awards, investigations, etc.)
Lead and develop our HR Coordinator while ensuring operational continuity
What This Role Does Not Include
Not a transactional or admin-heavy HR role — but one that does step in personally on complex, high-risk, sensitive and strategically important matters requiring senior judgement
Not responsible for day-to-day people management issues — leaders own their teams
Not focused on routine recruitment or payroll processing
Not about maintaining the status quo — this is about building and evolving
About You
You’re a strategic and hands-on HR leader who enjoys building and improving.
You bring:
5–10 years’ HR generalist experience, including time in a leadership role
A track record of building or transforming HR functions, systems, or culture
Strong commercial thinking, with the ability to translate business goals into people strategies
Confidence across both strategy and execution, and working across a broad HR remit — from performance and capability to ER/IR and compliance
Experience in people-intensive, multi-site, or evolving environments (hospitality, retail, manufacturing, or similar)
Comfortable building structure, capability, and discipline in a fast-moving business where HR maturity is evolving
Just as importantly, you’re:
Collaborative, approachable, personable, and high in emotional intelligence
Adaptable and comfortable navigating ambiguity
A natural coach who lifts capability in others
Confident leading change and managing through complexity
Why Join Us
This is a rare opportunity to build something meaningful.
You’ll have the autonomy to shape the function, the backing of leadership to drive change, and the platform to make a genuine impact on how our people experience work.
At Brunetti Classico, we take pride in what we do — and how we do it. You’ll be joining a business that values quality, collaboration, and respect, with a strong sense of team at its core.
Ready to Make Your Mark?
If you’re ready to build something meaningful, we’d love to hear from you.
