Brand & Communications Specialist

Help shape the Freedom Fuels brand, tell our story and keep our people connected.

Freedom Fuels is growing, evolving and building for the future. We’re looking for a Brand & Communications Specialist to help bring our brand and communications to life across our business.

This is a hands-on, varied role where you’ll sit across brand, corporate communications, internal communications, content and employer branding. You’ll work with teams across the organisation, as well as creative and external partners, to make sure our messages are clear, consistent and engaging.

What you’ll do

  • Champion the Freedom Fuels brand across corporate, retail, wholesale and employer channels.
  • Create and coordinate engaging communications including LinkedIn content, website copy, presentations, internal updates, executive communications and video.
  • Support our corporate narrative, reputation and issues management activities.
  • Develop and deliver internal communications that keep our people informed and connected.
  • Partner with People & Culture on employer branding, recruitment marketing and team member storytelling.
  • Brief and coordinate designers, agencies, photographers, videographers, web and social partners.
  • Manage content planning, approvals, brand assets and communications timelines.
  • Identify new ways to improve our communication channels, content and brand presence.

About you

You’re a confident communicator and strong writer who knows how to turn ideas into clear, engaging content. You bring personality to communications by adding the right mix of polish, charisma, cheek, and charm without losing clarity or credibility. You’re organised, commercially minded and comfortable juggling multiple priorities and stakeholders.

You’ll bring:

  • 5–6+ years’ experience in communications, marketing, corporate affairs, brand, content or a similar role.
  • Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills.
  • Experience delivering communications and content across multiple channels, including video.
  • Proven ability to coordinate projects from brief through to delivery.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and the confidence to work across operational and corporate environments.
  • Strong judgement, attention to detail and a genuine sense of ownership.
  • Experience in fuel, retail, logistics, energy, infrastructure or another operational environment will be highly regarded.

Why Freedom Fuels?

You’ll join a growing business where there’s plenty to get stuck into, real opportunity to shape how we communicate and a brand with an exciting future ahead.

If you’re a communications and brand all-rounder who enjoys variety, collaboration and making things happen, we’d love to hear from you.

Apply now and help shape the next chapter of Freedom Fuels.
