Are you passionate about retail, enjoying working with people, and wanting to make a real difference in your community? We’re looking for motivated and reliable Assistant Supervisors to join our Moonah Mega Store team.

This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. You’ll help create a welcoming shopping experience, support our amazing volunteers, and contribute to the success of a store that helps fund vital community services. If you enjoy a fast-paced environment, like bringing a sense of fun to the workplace, and love staying active, you’ll fit right in—plus, you’ll easily reach your 10,000 steps a day without even trying!

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and POS management
• Follow direction from Supervisors on merchandising, pricing, and stock flow
• Maintain high standards of store presentation, cleanliness, and visual merchandising
• Assist with stock rotation, replenishment, and back-of-house organisation
• Provide excellent customer service and support sales initiatives
• Mentor, support, and train volunteers to encourage a positive and inclusive environment
• Assist with volunteer onboarding and roster coordination as directed
• Support promotions, campaigns, and in-store events
• Maintain safe work practices and comply with WHS requirements
• Build strong relationships with customers, donors, volunteers, and team members

About You

• Experience in retail (second-hand retail experience is highly regarded)
• Strong customer service skills and a team-focused attitude
• Ability to follow direction and work collaboratively
• Well-developed organisational and time management skills
• Confident in supporting and guiding volunteers
• Basic computer and POS system skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgement
