WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Depending on the assignment, you could be involved in:

• Mechanical equipment installation, removal and replacement
• Machinery strip-downs, repairs and rebuilds
• Planned & preventative maintenance
• Breakdown repairs and fault-finding
• Mechanical diagnostics
• Bearings, shafts, motors and component replacement
• Hydraulic & pneumatic systems
• Scheduled maintenance programs
• MIG, ARC or TIG welding where required

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for experienced Mechanical Fitters who bring:

• 6+ years’ Mechanical Fitting experience (highly regarded)
• Australian recognised mechanical trade qualification
• Industrial, manufacturing, maintenance or similar experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding ability
• Hydraulic & pneumatic experience
• Welding skills MIG, ARC or TIG advantageous
• Strong safety mindset
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
