Remuneration: $86,896.63 – $88,951.42 per annum (+ super + 17.5% leave loading where applicable)

About the Opportunity

As Executive Support Officer, you will provide high-level administrative support to the Chief Executive team, helping them achieve their objectives in a timely, efficient and professional manner. You will be a key point of contact for LHD Executives, facility staff, health professionals, consumers and external stakeholders.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage telephone enquiries and support incoming and external communications, using appropriate tracking methods to ensure deadlines are met
  • Maintain corporate records – creating, storing, retrieving and archiving files to ensure the safe storage of information.
  • Prepare and maintain daily meeting papers for the Chief Executive.
  • Manage travel requirements, including bookings for the Chief Executive and Board members.
  • Complete end-of-month reconciliation of Chief Executive expenses and fleet vehicle documentation.
  • Use initiative to manage day-to-day operational matters and provide relief to the Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive as required.

About You

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Demonstrate excellent organisational skills with proven high-level ability to use computer applications including the Microsoft Office suite, payroll, procurement and corporate office systems.
  • Bring strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to function efficiently in a demanding, complex environment with competing priorities and strict deadlines.
  • Show a demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare correspondence and routine documents within agreed timeframes and with a high level of accuracy.
  • Have demonstrated experience working within an environment requiring high sensitivity and confidentiality.
  • Work effectively both unsupervised and as part of a collaborative team.
