Gaming Manager | Dog and Parrot Tavern

Are you a seasoned gaming professional who knows how to keep a high-volume room running at peak performance? The Dog and Parrot Tavern is looking for a dedicated, details-driven Gaming Manager with sharp technical expertise, airtight compliance standards, and a passion for exceptional player service.

This is a focused, high-impact specialist role. We need a gaming leader who takes total ownership of the floor, someone who can troubleshoot EGM faults on the fly, balance the books down to the cent, navigate month-end reconciliations with ease, and dig deep to investigate and resolve variances. If you are an experienced operator with a current RSG and a track record in high-turnover QLD gaming environments, this is your opportunity to lead a premier room on the Gold Coast!

A day in the life of a Gaming Manager:

• Know the regulars by name and make them feel right at home
• Work closely with the Publican to keep the room running smoothly, safely, and within all the rules
• Share your gaming know-how and help your team be the best in the biz
• Bring the good vibes, great service, and friendly smiles every shift

Inherent requirements:

This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About you:

• You’ve been in the gaming room world for a while, as an attendant, supervisor, or manager
• You’ve learned from great managers and are ready to step up
• You’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the gaming room
• You understand compliance and safe gaming inside out
• You’ve got a current RSA and RSG as per state requirements
