AWX are seeking experienced, hard-working Boilermakers to jump on board in Mt Isa, QLD. FIFO offered from Brisbane, Townsville & Cairns.
What We're Looking For
• Trade qualification for Boilermaker
• Experience working on fixed and mobile plant
• At least 2 year's experience in fabrication and construction
• Hold current competency in positional stick and/or MIG welding.
• Pass a structural weld test
• Safety-focused, reliable, and a strong team player
Key Details
• Pay rate $60/ hr flat rate + super
• 2/1 roster with potential for extended swings (3/1 or 4/1)
• FIFO -Townsville, Cairns or Brisbane
• Shifts may extend up to 12 hours
• Day shift standard with night shift required during shutdowns/projects
• Meals & camp provided
• Location : Mt Isa and surrounds
• Career progression - Leading Hand & Supervisors are encouraged to apply
Requirements
• Relevant trade qualifications (AUS/NZ or Australian recognised)
• Mount Isa mine site access (preferred but not essential)
• Ability to pass pre-employment and ongoing drug and alcohol testing
• RII Confined Spaces & Working at Heights
• Driver's licence (manual preferred)
• Medium rigid licence or higher (highly desirable)
• Ability to work in lead stream mining environments, including maintaining a clean-shaven standard and wearing a respirator while on shift.
