We're looking for a Tenders & Grants Officer to help us identify new opportunities, secure funding and support the continued growth of our organisation.

About the Role

Reporting to the Business Development Manager, you'll play a key role in identifying, developing and submitting high-quality tenders, grant applications and funding submissions that support the growth of C2A's commercial services and community programs.

Working collaboratively across the organisation, you'll help us secure new business opportunities, strengthen existing partnerships and build sustainable funding streams that enable us to deliver exceptional services and create meaningful employment opportunities for people with disability.

In this role you will:

Research and identify tender, grant and funding opportunities aligned to C2A's strategic priorities.

Develop compelling, high-quality tender and grant submissions that showcase our capability, impact and value.

Coordinate input from leaders across the organisation to deliver accurate, compliant and persuasive submissions.

Support the Business Development Manager to identify and pursue new commercial opportunities across our Op Shops, Work Connections and Community Connections programs.

Develop and maintain a live Tender & Grants Register to track opportunities, submissions and outcomes.

Build and maintain a library of capability statements, case studies and supporting documentation.

Foster positive relationships with funding bodies, customers and key stakeholders.

Celebrate successful outcomes and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

About You

You're a natural opportunity seeker with a talent for turning ideas into outcomes. You enjoy identifying opportunities, thinking strategically and developing compelling submissions that secure funding, win new business and create meaningful impact.

You have experience preparing tenders, grants, funding submissions or proposals that clearly articulate an organisation's capability, value proposition and social impact.

Most importantly, you're an excellent communicator who can build relationships, manage multiple priorities and produce high-quality work that you're proud of.

Experience in the not-for-profit, government or community services sectors will be highly regarded.

You will also bring:

A relevant qualification or significant industry experience in business, marketing, communications, commercial management or a related discipline.

Exceptional written communication and storytelling skills.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Demonstrated ability to use contemporary digital tools, including Artificial Intelligence (AI) platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT or similar technologies, to support research, analysis, content development, tender writing and productivity while maintaining accuracy, privacy and ethical standards.

Excellent organisational and project coordination skills.

The ability to manage competing deadlines while maintaining accuracy.

Confidence working independently while collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation.

A proactive, commercially minded and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to identify opportunities and drive outcomes.

A genuine passion for contributing to an organisation that creates meaningful opportunities for people with disability.

A current Victorian Driver Licence.

A current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or the ability to obtain one before commencement).
