A leading mining maintenance contractor is expanding its Neerabup workshop operation and is seeking an experienced Auto Electrician looking for long-term stability, career growth, and a strong team culture.

This is a Perth-based workshop role working across Underground HME in a hands-on mining environment - focused on maintenance, rebuilds, fit-outs and machine preparation to support ongoing underground operations.

• Roster: 5:2 Monday-Friday (Day Shift) | 10 hour days
• Pay: Up to $75/hr + Super + Overtime
• Employment Structure: Temp to Perm or Permanent Full-Time

The Role

You'll be working in a modern workshop environment carrying out servicing, diagnostics, rebuilds and maintenance on a range of underground mobile mining equipment (Sandvik, Epiroc & CAT), supporting machine reliability and performance across the fleet.

• Servicing, maintenance and rebuild work on Sandvik, Epiroc and CAT underground HME
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical faults across mining machinery
• Installation, repair and replacement of wiring looms, lighting, sensors and electrical components
• Carrying out inspections, testing and preventative maintenance activities
• Supporting component change-outs and full equipment rebuilds
• Working closely with mechanical and hydraulic teams to complete workshop rebuild projects
• Maintaining high safety, quality and housekeeping standards within the workshop environment

What We're Looking For

• Australian-recognised Auto Electrical Trade Certificate (Essential)
• Certificate II Automotive Air-Conditioning (preferred)
• Underground mining equipment experience - Sandvik, Epiroc or CAT (preferred)
• Strong understanding of workshop safety systems
• A team player with strong problem-solving skills
• Current driver's licence + ability to pass pre-employment checks
