(A) Essential Job Functions:

The M&E Engineer is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

Plan, supervise, and coordinate M&E works in accordance with project specifications, approved drawings, and construction schedules.

Coordinate with consultants, LTA representatives, subcontractors, and relevant authorities on M&E design, installation, testing, and commissioning.

Review shop drawings, method statements, material submissions, and technical proposals.

Monitor site progress and ensure M&E works comply with quality, safety, and LTA requirements.

Coordinate electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, ventilation, and other building services works with civil and structural activities.

Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues to ensure smooth project execution.

Supervise testing and commissioning activities and ensure timely completion of all M&E systems.

Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, Singapore Standards, and authority requirements.

Prepare progress reports, inspection records, as-built drawings, and project handover documentation.

Support project planning, coordination meetings, and technical discussions.

LEW Responsibilities:

Perform duties as a Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) in accordance with the Energy Market Authority (EMA) requirements.

Oversee electrical installations, energisation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance works.

Ensure electrical works comply with applicable codes of practice and safety regulations.

Liaise with relevant authorities and service providers on electrical submissions and approvals.

(B) Minimum Qualifications/ Job Experience:

Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering, or equivalent.

Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in M&E works for LTA or major infrastructure projects.

Valid Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) certificate is preferred.

Good knowledge of LTA specifications, Singapore Standards, and statutory requirements.

Experience in testing and commissioning of M&E systems.
