About the role
Watco is seeking a qualified full-time Locomotive Driver to operate intermodal freight services from our Metro Forrestfield depot (Perth, WA). This is a permanent full-time role working rostered hours in accordance with the Watco WA Transportation Services Pty Ltd Enterprise Agreement 2023.
What you will do
Operate Watco intermodal freight services.
Comply with rail safety, HSEQ policies, and operating procedures.
Participate in a 24/7 shift roster, including nights and weekends.
Travel or work away from home when required.
What you will bring
Current Locomotive Driver Qualification (Certificate IV – Transport and Logistics – Rail Operations or equivalent).
Recent locomotive driving experience.
Current manual Class C driver’s licence.
Customer‑focused approach.
Ability to pass a Category 1 Rail Medical and Drug and Alcohol Screen.
Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
