Labourers – Water Services Treatment Team (3 Positions)

APG Workforce is currently seeking three reliable and hardworking Labourers to join the Water Services Treatment Team based in Bundaberg East. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a critical water infrastructure environment, supporting the operation and maintenance of water treatment facilities.

About the Role
Working as part of a team, you will undertake a range of labouring, grounds maintenance and facility support activities across water treatment facilities. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, teamwork and maintaining high operational standards.
Key Responsibilities

• Undertake routine labouring and facility support tasks at water treatment facilities
• Conduct visual inspections and record observations under supervision
• Assist with meter and instrument readings
• Collect, label and store routine water samples as directed
• Open and close valves under supervision where required
• Assist with the operation and maintenance of equipment, plant and machinery
• Perform mowing, whipper snipping and grounds maintenance activities
• Clean treatment plants, buildings, equipment and surrounding areas
• Carry out manual handling, loading and unloading duties
• Assist with basic maintenance and repair tasks
• Safely operate tools and equipment relevant to the role
• Complete basic documentation and reporting requirements
• Follow all WHS procedures and contribute to a safe workplace

About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Current Class C Driver Licence
• Current White Card (General Construction Induction Card)
• Previous labouring or outdoor maintenance experience
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor environments
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Experience operating front deck mowers or zero-turn mowers (highly regarded)

Mandatory Requirements

• Current Class C Driver Licence
• Current White Card
• Up-to-date Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B vaccinations
• Ability to work full-time hours for the duration of the assignment
