About the Role

The Recovery Project Officer plays a key role in planning, coordinating and delivering infrastructure recovery projects across Little Desert National Park.

Reporting to the relevant manager, you will oversee the repair, renewal and rebuilding of critical park infrastructure, visitor facilities and utilities damaged by natural disasters and environmental events. Working closely with contractors, Traditional Owners and internal stakeholders, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with environmental and cultural heritage requirements.

This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to landscape recovery while strengthening the long-term resilience of one of Victoria's most significant national parks.

We're Lookin for Someone With:

• Demonstrated experience delivering infrastructure, asset management or recovery projects from planning through to completion.
• Strong project management skills, including project scoping, budgeting, scheduling, procurement and contractor management.
• Experience managing contractors, consultants and delivery partners to achieve project outcomes safely and efficiently.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements, risk management principles and compliance obligations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build productive relationships across a diverse range of groups.
• Experience working collaboratively and respectfully with Traditional Owners, community groups and other key stakeholders in a land management or infrastructure environment.
