About the role
The Kindergarten Care Assistant Centre Supervisor plays a key role in supporting the daily operations and delivering a safe, engaging, and enriching environment for kindergarten children. Working closely with the Kindergarten Care Centre Supervisor and fellow Kindergarten Care staff, you will provide leadership to the team, ensure high standards of care and programme quality, and foster a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where every child can thrive.
Key responsibilities
Support the Kindergarten Care Centre Supervisor in the daily operations and management of the centre
Lead and supervise the daily operations of the centre in the absence of the Centre Supervisor
Provide guidance, coaching, and support to Kindergarten Programme Staff and Support Staff
Ensure the safety, well-being, and supervision of all children in accordance with organisational policies and regulatory requirements
Maintain a safe, clean, organised, and conducive learning environment throughout the centre
Build positive relationships with children, parents, school partners, and external stakeholders through effective communication
Support staff scheduling, deployment, onboarding, and day-to-day operational coordination
Ensure compliance with organisational policies, child safeguarding requirements, licensing standards, and health and safety procedures
Job Requirement
Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in a preschool, kindergarten, or Kindergarten Care setting, with supervisory experience preferred
Passionate about working with young children and supporting their holistic development
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work collaboratively as part of a team
Physically able to support children's daily routines and classroom activities
Organised, responsible, patient, and adaptable in a dynamic environment
Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
At least L1 trained
