Highly respected and busy Tier 1 builder are looking for a Site Engineer to join the team working on either a $1 bil Data Centre Or Hospital Project.
They are looking for someone with strong Tier 1 or 2 experience and a want to gro in that Tier 1 space.
The company undertake projects in a variety of sectors including Data centre, airport, health, commercial, and large CBD jobs up to $3 bil and work with a lot of repeat clients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist project managers with planning, scheduling, and budgeting
- Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors for timely, cost-effective delivery
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, contracts, and regulations
- Prepare and maintain project documentation (schedules, contracts, change orders)
- Monitor progress and update managers on milestones and issues
- Coordinate with team members to complete tasks on time and within budget
- Track expenses and provide regular updates to managers
- Identify and resolve issues, escalating to managers as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer on projects over $50 mil
- Proven experience working for a Tier 1 or 2 builder.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in project engineering within the construction industry
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Detail-oriented with an analytical mindset
- Reliable references
- Must already be in Australia to be considered for this role
- Experience working for a commercial Builder before
