About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bookkeeper / Office Assistant to join our team at Interfood Machinery Group Pty Ltd in Condell Park, NSW. This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for managing the company's day-to-day financial operations and providing administrative support to the wider business.

What you'll be doing

Maintaining accurate financial records and accounts, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger transactions

Generating financial reports, such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow projections

Providing administrative support, such as answering phone calls, managing correspondence, and supporting the wider team as needed

Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and other legal requirements

Assisting with the implementation of improved financial processes and systems

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience as a Bookkeeper

Strong proficiency in accounting software, such as MYOB or Xero

Excellent attention to detail and data entry skills

Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders

Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
