Senior Leasing Consultant | Co-Living & BTR | Sydney
An opportunity for a high-performing leasing professional to take full ownership of leasing performance with Australia's fastest-growing co-living operator and build a career while doing it.
About the Role
UKO operates some of Sydney's most vibrant, design-led residential communities across the co-living and Build-to-Rent sectors. We're seeking an experienced leasing professional with a proven ability to convert. Someone ready to take complete ownership of the leasing function at one of our Sydney communities, who is looking to progress into property and community management over time.
This is not a support role. You will own the leasing process end to end, from first enquiry through to move-in, with accountability for occupancy and conversion outcomes. And because this is co-living, the relationship doesn't end at lease signing. You'll be a visible, trusted presence for residents throughout their stay, backed by clear targets, genuine support, and a defined pathway to advance as UKO's portfolio grows.
Your Day-to-Day
Own the leasing cycle. Take full ownership of the process from start to finish: managing and responding to all enquiries, conducting inspections, qualifying and progressing applications, negotiating and executing leases, and coordinating seamless move-ins. Every stage is yours to run, and conversion and speed-to-lease are your measures of success.
Drive occupancy and revenue. Take accountability for leasing outcomes against occupancy and revenue targets, managing your own pipeline and prioritising activity to maximise results.
Resident relationships. Act as a key point of contact for residents across their journey, from pre-arrival through to departure. You'll respond promptly and professionally to resident enquiries and requests, assist with day-to-day needs, and build the kind of relationships that drive renewals, referrals and positive reviews.
Resident experience and community. Support the planning and delivery of resident events and engagement activities that distinguish UKO from conventional operators, and help residents understand and comply with accommodation rules. A strong community is a full community, and resident satisfaction directly supports leasing performance.
Market insight. Monitor demand, competitor activity and pricing trends, and bring forward pricing and campaign recommendations based on what you're seeing on the ground.
What You Will Bring
Solid experience (2+ years) in residential leasing, real estate, PBSA, BTR or co-living, with a strong record of converting enquiries into signed leases
A current NSW Certificate of Registration or Class 2 Real Estate Licence
The confidence and initiative to run a leasing function autonomously and be accountable for results
A genuine customer-service mindset. You enjoy dealing with residents day to day and take pride in prompt, professional responses
Results-oriented drive to meet and exceed occupancy and revenue targets
Excellent communication skills. You build rapport quickly with prospects and residents alike
Strong organisation, disciplined follow-up and attention to detail
Ambition and a genuine interest in progressing into property and community management
