The Role

Join a well-established government department in a temporary full-time Paralegal opportunity supporting an experienced in-house legal team. This role offers exposure to residential and commercial conveyancing, probate matters and property transactions in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Working under the supervision of experienced lawyers, you will manage a varied caseload and assist with legal matters including:

Residential and straightforward commercial conveyancing from commencement through to settlement.

Preparing and reviewing contracts of sale and disclosure documentation.

Managing PEXA settlements and electronic conveyancing.

Conducting property searches and preparing settlement figures.

Preparing and lodging Land Titles documentation.

Assisting with probate applications and estate administration matters.

Managing client correspondence, file administration and legal documentation.

Liaising with clients, real estate agents and other external stakeholders.

About You

You will ideally bring:

Previous experience in a conveyancing or property law environment.

Experience managing files independently from start to finish.

Working knowledge of PEXA and Queensland conveyancing processes.

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Probate experience will be viewed favourably but is not essential.
