We are seeking an experienced Strata Insurance Broker to join our growing team and support our portfolio of large and complex clients.

This role is ideal for someone who already has solid strata insurance experience and wants to further develop their expertise by working alongside some of the most experienced professionals in the industry.

About the Role

You will be responsible for supporting existing clients throughout the insurance renewal process, managing enquiries, and assisting with the placement and ongoing management of complex strata insurance risks.

You will work closely with senior team members, gaining exposure to challenging risks that go well beyond standard strata insurance placements.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the pre-renewal and renewal process for large and complex strata insurance risks.

Present renewal and insurance recommendations to clients via phone and written correspondence.

Manage day-to-day client enquiries, including complex insurance matters, with support from senior brokers where required.

Review and issue renewal documentation prepared by administration staff.

Provide guidance and oversight to support staff involved in the renewal process.

Assist with defect-related matters, including reviewing engineering and consultant reports.

Follow up on insurer risk requirements and recommendations.

Liaise with insurers regarding underwriting requirements, claims histories, risk information, and policy terms.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and industry stakeholders.

Contribute to delivering exceptional service and advice to our existing client base.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification.

More than two years' experience in strata insurance broking.

Experience managing complex strata insurance placements.

Exposure to challenging risks such as building defects, adverse claims histories, large strata developments, and other non-standard insurance placements.

Strong communication and relationship management skills.

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
