This Special Counsel role sits within a dedicated commercial litigation and insolvency team acting for a genuinely industry-facing client base, and can be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane. Permanent, full-time, with genuine flexibility on working arrangements.

About the role:

You'll run commercial litigation and insolvency matters end to end for a genuinely industry-facing client base, working directly with a senior practice leader, with real file ownership.

• Manage commercial disputes and insolvency matters end to end
• Advise on insolvency, bankruptcy and related recovery strategies
• Identify disputes early and formulate strategies to resolve them efficiently
• Collaborate with a national specialist team across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane
• Genuine leadership and mentoring opportunities as the practice grows

Requirements:

• 8+ PAE in commercial litigation and/or insolvency
• Current unrestricted practising certificate for the relevant state
• Strong technical drafting and advocacy skills
• Insolvency and bankruptcy experience highly regarded
• A genuine interest in industry-facing dispute resolution work
