
Project Engineer (Rail Systems)

Job Responsibilities
Coordinate and supervise on-site installation works, including cable laying, termination, containment/metal works, and equipment installation.
Liaise with civil contractors, subcontractors, and other trades to ensure smooth site execution and proper interface management.
Prepare and update drawings, as-built documentation, method statements, and test reports.
Provide technical support to the project team and assist in progress monitoring and reporting.
Ensure compliance with railway/infrastructure standards, safety procedures, and site practices.
Support project coordination and other assigned duties as required.
Job Requirements
Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
Experience: Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply! Candidates with prior internship or hands-on experience in railway system installation, testing, and commissioning will have an added advantage.
Skills & Competencies:
Quick learner with a strong interest in railway/infrastructure projects.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently on-site and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred Qualifications (Not mandatory, training provided):
Familiar with AutoCAD or MicroStation CAD.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in LTA rail projects or system works.
Familiar with AutoCAD or MicroStation CAD.
Experience in testing & commissioning activities is an advantage.
