Responsibilities:
Conduct developmental screenings and assessments to identify children's fine motor, sensory, adaptive, and self-regulation needs, and develop individualised intervention plans integrated into preschool routines.
Collaborate with educators, Learning Support Educators (LSEds), families, and multidisciplinary teams to implement intervention strategies, monitor progress, and support children's participation in inclusive learning environments.
Provide consultation, coaching, and training to educators and parents while contributing to case discussions, classroom observations, parent engagement, and centre-wide inclusive practices.
Maintain accurate case documentation, progress reports, and programme evaluation records, ensuring compliance with professional, organisational, and regulatory standards.
Support the development of resources, workshops, service improvement initiatives, and research projects to strengthen inclusive practices and early intervention services.
(Senior Occupational Therapist) Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to junior therapists/LSEds, lead service improvement projects, and support programme reviews, training, and transdisciplinary collaboration.
Job Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy recognised by the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC), with Full AHPC Registration.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in early intervention, preschool, educational, or paediatric settings. Senior Occupational Therapist: 5–7 years of relevant experience with at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
Strong knowledge of child development, sensory integration, school-based interventions, family-centred practices, and inclusive education.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, case management, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
Passionate about supporting children with diverse developmental needs and committed to delivering high-quality early intervention services.
Membership with the Singapore Association of Occupational Therapists (SAOT) or equivalent, and experience in programme development, training, research, or service improvement will be an advantage.
