Our client is a medium-sized multi-national manufacturer of consumables supplying the mining sector. They have operations across Europe, the Americas and Australia.
Description
- Ensure 3PL inventory levels are in line with lead times and order volumes.
- Coordinate logistics activities, including shipping, receiving, and transportation schedules.
- Work closely with overseas production teams and 3PL suppliers to ensure stock availability.
- Analyse inventory data and logistics performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods to meet organisational requirements.
Profile
A successful Inventory and Logistics Coordinator should have:
- Strong experience with international container logistics, servicing a local 3PL supplier.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and logistics software.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- A good understanding of INCOTerms and international logistics
