Electrical Estimator

Industrial Electrician

Available Opportunities:

Electrical Estimator

Working closely with project managers, engineers, suppliers and clients, you will be responsible for:

Preparing detailed electrical estimates and tender submissions

Reviewing drawings, specifications and scopes of work

Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing

Assessing project risks and opportunities

Assisting with cost planning and value engineering

Supporting project handovers to delivery teams

Industrial Electrician

You will be involved in a range of workshop and site-based activities including:

Building and wiring switchboards and control panels

Testing, commissioning and fault-finding electrical systems

Installing switchboards and associated equipment on client sites

Performing preventative maintenance and repairs

Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults

Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical drawings

Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with Australian Standards

About You:

We would like to hear from candidates who possess some or all of the following:

For Electrical Estimators:

Previous estimating experience within the electrical industry

Strong understanding of electrical systems and installations

Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and project documentation

Experience with estimating software highly regarded

Electrical trade background advantageous

For Industrial Electricians:

Current Electrical Licence

Trade qualification as an Electrician

Experience with switchboards, control panels or industrial electrical systems

Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting ability

Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics

Current driver's licence

Highly Regarded

Industrial electrical experience

Experience with PLCs, MCCs, control systems or automation

Commissioning experience

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Commitment to workplace health and safety
