About the role
Our client, is after a passionate Finance Project Officer to join their finance team. This role is best suited towards someone who has an understanding of project accounting adminiustration that is also tech-savvy and able to navigate systems. This role will work closely with the Devleopment Accountants and Project Accountants to deliver accurate information that supports project reporting and effective project cost management. This role is based five days on-site.

The responsibilities
You will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

• Manage the Finance Hub email inbox and allocate/respond to queries.
• Assist users with project cost coding, commitments, purchase orders and invoice workflow issues
• Assist in processing project supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ensure invoices are correctly approved and substantiated
• Work with Development Accountants to ensure all project costs are correctly coded to the appropriate project, cost category and commitment
• Support month-end WIP reconciliations.

The successful applicant will have

• 2–4 years' experience in an Accounts Payable, Assistant Accountant or similar role.
• Experience in property development or construction is desirable.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable and project costing.
• Experience with ERP systems and IPM (desirable).
