Join a high performing maintenance team in a fast-paced, highly automated warehousing environment in South West Sydney. This is a full-time, hands-on leadership role (approximately 50% tools / 50% leadership) supervising a team of 6 mechanical and electrical technicians.
What’s In It For You?
- Panama shift pattern: 12-hour shifts (5:30am - 5:30pm, 5:30pm - 5:30am), eg. 2 Days 3 nights 4 days off, 3 Days 2 nights, then 5 days off, etc
- Full-time salary $136,000–$156,000 including 20% shift allowance
- Overtime paid at 2x base rate

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of 6 technicians
- Attend and coordinate non-routine technical work
- Determine repair methodologies with techs and SMEs
- Conduct risk assessments and organise permits to work
- Ensure safety, compliance and quality of maintenance activities
- Set goals and conduct performance and development conversations
About You
- 5–10 years as a technician, plus 2+ years in a 2IC/lead role
- Trade qualified – mechanical preferred, electrical also considered
- Strong leadership, coaching and performance management skills
- Confident working across mechanical and electrical systems
- Experience in industrial automation (warehousing ideal, manufacturing considered)
- Proven experience leading risk assessments at the point of work
- Calm, considered decision-maker with a strong commitment to safety
