Victorian Cosmetic Institute is seeking a self-motivated and energetic Skin Therapist/Beauty Therapist who is looking to step away from traditional treatment roles and transition into a Patient Coordinator position. This is a part-time role based at our Templestowe Lower clinic working Fridays and Saturdays.
Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years experience in Beauty Therapy.
This unique position allows you to continue using your beauty therapy expertise (cleansing, patient preparation, numbing, skin scanning, photography) while focusing more on the administrative and patient experience side of our clinic.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome and prepare patients for their appointments, including facial cleansing, numbing, VISIA/ VECTRA skin scanning.
Preparing all pre-appointment documentation with accuracy.
Conduct patient photography and ensure images are correctly recorded.
Manage patient bookings and billing with professionalism.
Support online skincare orders – from packing and dispatch to handling enquiries.
Ensure the clinic environment is welcoming, organised, and runs smoothly.
Assist practitioners with pre- and post-treatment patient preparation and care.
Be the first point of contact when welcoming patients in-clinic, creating a professional and supportive experience.
About You
You have a minimum 2 years experience treating in a clinic/spa setting.
You are a therapist who enjoys the patient care and preparation side of treatments but no longer wishes to perform full treatments.
Strong customer service skills with a background in clinic/spa settings.
Confident working in both patient-facing and administrative tasks.
Professional, well-presented, punctual, and detail-oriented.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
Available every Friday and Saturday
