Position Overview
This role is responsible for providing Level 2 end-user support across desktop, workplace technology, and IT operational environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting daily IT operations, resolving technical incidents, managing devices and user accounts, assisting with infrastructure initiatives, and ensuring a high level of service delivery to end users.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2 desktop and end-user support.
- Manage IT operational support activities and ticket backlogs.
- Support new starters and leavers, including Microsoft 365 administration.
- Perform laptop deployments, refreshes, and rollout activities.
- Provide meeting room, audiovisual (AV), and office technology support.
- Manage device provisioning, builds, and asset management through Microsoft Intune.
- Create and maintain documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
- Provide Level 1 networking support where required.
- Assist with server decommissioning and infrastructure simplification initiatives.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in Level 2 End-User or Desktop Support roles.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Microsoft desktop environments.
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 administration and user lifecycle management.
- Experience with device imaging, deployment, provisioning, and asset management.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Intune and endpoint management.
- Exposure to networking fundamentals and support processes.
- Strong documentation and process improvement skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Valid Australian working rights.
Key Deliverables
- Timely resolution of desktop and end-user support issues.
- Effective management of service requests and ticket queues.
- Successful execution of laptop deployment and refresh activities.
- Accurate device provisioning and asset tracking.
- Delivery of high-quality user support across office technologies and meeting rooms.
- Creation and maintenance of documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Support of infrastructure simplification and server decommissioning activities.
