Hours: 38 hours per week Monday to Friday
Annual Salary: $79,040 + Leave + Superannuation

Happy Peeps is seeking a friendly, down-to-earth, and motivated Assistant Office Manager to join our happy, client-focused, compassionate team.

This is a full-time position (38 hours per week), based in our Kenmore office. You will work on-site as part of our positive, fun, and collaborative office environment.

Working hours:

Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pm

Friday: 7:00am – 2:00pm

The successful applicant will enjoy being part of a busy practice, have a strong administrative background with accounts experience, and bring a proactive and team-focused approach to their work.

Happy Peeps is a registered provider supporting people facing challenging mental health situations. We provide services for anyone wanting professional counselling or therapy, support coordination and support work. We are an outreach mobile service working in Brisbane and its surrounding areas, also providing telehealth counselling services throughout Australia.

We are currently seeking a team member who is passionate about helping others and brings extensive experience in administration and accounts receivable. Experience with QuickBooks would be a strong advantage. The ideal candidate will have a friendly, positive demeanour and feel confident greeting clients and managing phone enquiries. Strong communication skills and a professional approach to client interactions are essential.

Position Description

The role will involve a wide range of general office and administrative duties, including but not limited to: answering and directing phone calls; responding to enquiry emails; communicating effectively with NDIS and private clients; processing invoices and managing accounts receivable; processing Medicare rebates; scheduling appointments; preparing quotes; providing support coordination; and Recruitment support.

The position will also provide administrative and operational support to a multidisciplinary team, including Managers, Therapists, Support Coordinators, Support Workers, and Administrative Staff. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate professionally with both clients and internal team members.

Requirements:

· Must have previous administration & accounts experience.

· Must be able to communicate effectively and be a team player.

· Has exceptional understanding of Microsoft and is quick to learn new technology platforms.

· Hold a valid Blue Card and Yellow Card (or willing to obtain).

· National Police Check

· Hold a valid Queensland Drivers Licence & must have own vehicle to travel to work.

· Completed NDIS Worker Orientation Module (or willing to complete).

· Completed First Aid & CPR Training and up to date (or willing to complete)
