We are establishing a brand new, state-of-the-art medical centre in the heart of Gungahlin, one of the fastest-growing regions in Australia. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the nursing direction of a new general practice if you're an experienced nurse, or work within a fresh team in a mordern GP practice if you're a graduate nurse. We have several opportunities available and will be conducting interviews on a rolling basis until positions are filled.

Previous experience in coordinating and reviewing Chronic Disease Management plans in a GP setting
Passion and experience in supporting elderly patients in their health journey by undertaking Health Assessments, including home visits.
Able to use initiative to manage own workload and optimise bookings
Strong work ethic and able to commit to permanent role within the clinic.
Enthusiastic for continued learning and teaching.
Strong communication skills including accurate and comprehensive documentation.
The ability to cover annual leave and take on additional shifts as required is essential
Current AHPRA registration, Police Clearance, CPR certificate, SA child/vulnerable person clearance
Core skills (not a requirement):
Health Assessment and Care Planning
Wound care management
Immunisation (children, adults), and knowledge cold chain storage and vaccine management
ECG, spirometry, ear syringing, iron infusions.
Assisting in minor surgery clinics and women’s contraceptive procedures
It is expected that you will contribute to the recall system and development of our clinical protocols, working towards ongoing accreditation, and summation of medical records
In addition, at busy times to help in other areas of the business such as reception/admin duties
