Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 + Super + Incentive (Negotiable based on experience)

Vectura Recruitment is seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to join a respected organisation within the construction materials and building supply sector. Based near Brisbane City, this role is responsible for managing and growing customer accounts across QLD while providing technical product support and driving sales growth.

This is a hybrid position requiring regular travel to visit clients, manage relationships and identify new business opportunities across the QLD market.

We are particularly interested in candidates from the Frame & Truss industry. We also welcome applicants with experience in Timber Manufacturing who bring strong technical knowledge and industry relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow existing builder, contractor and trade accounts across QLD
• Travel regularly to meet clients and strengthen business relationships
• Provide quotations and technical product support using estimating or design software
• Interpret construction drawings and provide tailored product solutions
• Identify new business opportunities to support sales growth
• Maintain accurate CRM records and account management activity
• Work closely with internal teams to deliver strong customer and project outcomes
• Attend industry events, networking opportunities and client meetings

Skills & Experience

• Account Management or Technical Sales experience within Frame & Truss, Timber or Building Supplies industries
• Strong understanding of residential construction processes and building standards
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans
• Experience with CAD, timber design or estimating software highly regarded
• Strong relationship management and communication skills
• Commercial awareness and strong attention to detail
• Ability to travel regularly across QLD
