HVAC Sales Engineer

Location: Chipping Norton, Sydney, NSW
Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 + Super + Company Vehicle + Commission

About the Role

A growing Sydney HVAC contractor is looking for an HVAC Sales Engineer to join its team, covering residential and light commercial air conditioning projects across Greater Sydney.

This is a predominantly mobile role where you'll spend much of your time meeting customers, attending sites, developing opportunities and recommending suitable HVAC solutions, with some time spent at the company's Chipping Norton office.

The business is open-minded on background. You could already be working within HVAC sales, or you could be an experienced HVAC technician or engineer with strong industry knowledge who is ready to step away from the tools and build a career in sales.

Key Responsibilities

Generate and manage HVAC sales opportunities across Sydney

Attend customer meetings and conduct site visits

Assess customer requirements and recommend suitable HVAC solutions

Prepare quotations and proposals

Develop new business opportunities across residential and commercial markets

Manage incoming sales enquiries

Build and maintain strong customer relationships

Work closely with internal teams to coordinate projects and installations

Manage your own Sydney-wide territory and sales pipeline

Follow opportunities from initial enquiry through to project handover

About You

Previous HVAC sales experience is highly regarded but not essential

Strong knowledge of the HVAC and air conditioning industry

HVAC technicians or engineers looking to transition into sales are encouraged to apply

Comfortable dealing directly with customers and attending site meetings

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Commercially driven with the confidence to develop new business

Self-motivated and comfortable managing your own territory

Full Australian Driver's Licence
