Home Services Officer | BlueCare | Caloundra Aged Care Facility

Employment Term: Permanent part-time position available

Roster: Please clearly state your availability for shifts on your application questionnaire. Morning shifts can start as early as 6am. Afternoon shifts can finish as late as 8pm.

Location: Caloundra Aged Care Facility

Remuneration: $30.05 p/hr + Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging + Penalties & Allowances

About the role:

As a Home Services Officer, you will play a vital role in shaping each resident's daily experience of comfort, dignity and wellbeing. You will be part of the onsite hospitality team delivering high-quality dining, cleaning and laundry services within a safe, welcoming and person-centred environment.

You will be organised, motivated and take pride in delivering excellent service, supporting residents with the following:

Assist with meal preparation and service, ensuring meals are delivered safely and meet dietary requirements

Set up and maintain clean, welcoming dining areas and support residents during mealtimes

Perform cleaning and laundry duties, including maintaining resident rooms and shared areas and caring for clothing and linen

Engage with residents in a warm and respectful manner, creating a positive experience

Deliver a high standard of hygiene and safety across all tasks

Support the team with daily operations to ensure smooth service delivery

Prepare and serve coffee and drinks in the onsite café, ensuring quality and presentation

Role requirements:

Prior experience in hospitality, cleaning, food services or similar environment

Demonstrated ability to provide person-centred customer service with warmth and respect

Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team

Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to hygiene and safety standards

Understanding of or willingness to learn food safety, infection control and cleaning practices

NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain

Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies
